This mans car split in half during a crash and he survived

The silver 1986 Nissan 300ZX was photographed resting near a roadway, split in two, with both ends resting on a grassy patch several feet apart.
Carlos Pino, 20, was driving the car on a wet road Tuesday night in Winter Haven, Fla., when he lost control and slid into a tree, police said.
The result: A bisected metal mess, from which Pino was pulled with injuries that were not life-threatening.
“We’ve seen vehicles that were torn apart just like this,” Winter Haven Police spokeswoman Jamie Brown told The Washington Post, “but the fact that he survived it is an absolute miracle.”
Pino was driving down Cypress Gardens Boulevard in Winter Haven when the street started to curve. His car slid across the wet road, skidded to the side and struck a curb before slamming into a tree, police said in a statement.

“The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to split in two with the front engine compartment on one side of the tree and the vehicle’s cab coming to a rest on the opposite side of the tree,” according to the police statement.

During the initial investigation, Brown said, police found skid marks where Pino had tried to over-correct.

Investigators determined that roadway conditions and speed appear to have been a factor in the accident, believing that Pino was driving faster than the 35mph speed limit, she said. He may face charges as a result.
However, Brown said, the investigation is still ongoing.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.
